such a perfect day (through my window)

Here in Austria, most of winter (or maybe year?...) there are actually no parts of a day. No dawn, morning, or afternoon and time runs only in clocks. This is a random day example, taken yesterday. I could make the same for the most of a month's days.

Forever young

Humans have been historically obsessed with the idea of eternal youth and beauty. It looks as if it's one basic aspect of human nature.





I guess if we could one day reach this achievement, our image would resemble a lot to these dolls above. They don't look as if they're having a great time, do they?

Athenian eyeblinks

If you are driving to Athens, coming from the north, a few kilometers before entering the first suburbs of the city you come across this fancy overhead drivestop. To me, it stands there as a tasteless city gate.



This time my work involved visiting an old, military hospital. This is what caught my eye there. Glorious Hellenic Army.



While I was aimlessly driving around Athens, I saw this nice contrast of yellow and blue. This guy found this way to advertise his business: cesspit constructions!



Driving my way back, about 200 kilometers away from Athens, I captured Spring before leaving it behind me.

Bird invasion

(or I think I’ve kept the eggs in the kitchen for toooo long)

Today I woke up by some strange noises coming from the kitchen. I decided to check it out and I realized I had two early morning visitors.



It seems that my balcony is not enough for them, so these f%&^ing birds had to take a shit on my refrigerator as well.

Enough!!!

This post is a challenge to the scientific community to invent something that can replace pigeons…even though I’m pretty sure that these dumb-flying-rats are pretty useless.

Thessaloniki night out

Zita Swoon is a band from Antwerp, Belgium that tours around Europe in their custom-made tour van. They call this series of concerts the "band in a box" tour. And yesterday they stopped their van in Thessaloniki, Greece.



The gig took place in an open square at a central point in Thessaloniki, and it was free for anyone to attend. Good music and lots of people added to the good mood of the night.

After the concert we went for an extra drink to a place that operates as a meat market during day, but as an indie bar area during night. If you don't mind the smell, I guess it's kind of cool!
