Babis Batmanidis is a performer from Thessaloniki, Greece.
Unique in his style, he pays tribute to the most declassed Greek music genre, known as Skyladika.
Either by playing his own written songs, or by covering long – forgotten Greek folk pop trash hits from the 80’s, he manages to deliver pure excitement to his loyal fans at his live appearances.
Through his unique performing skills and sense of humor, he attracts the kind of alternative audience that would never – ever attend the Bouzoukia and embrace this kitsch lifestyle.
In my opinion, his biggest achievement is that he and his band manage to deliver a show that is not solely funny, but purely entertaining.
