Everyday strangers

Complaints, complaints and more complaints…Well, this brief post is dedicated to the strangers we meet every day. People who have a role in our daily life, however, we know nothing about them.

Every single morning on my way to the subway station I see this (really cute) police woman who controls traffic on Sygrou Ave. She tells me when to stop, when to walk, it’s up to her if I’m late for work or not.

Am I in love or has the milk in my frappe gone bad?

Have a nice weekend!

P.S sorry for the bad picture, but if I had the nerve to go closer in the middle of the street, to take a proper one I would rather ask her out!

Morellenfeldgasse 26

Not too far away from the place I live, here in Graz-Austria, there is a road with this kind of statue on the wall of a building.

I was schocked the first time I saw it and every time I see it. This thing carries encrypted meanings which we could probably discuss, but I cannot yet believe that this creature on the bottom is ...pregnant! Things like that one can never find in warmer climates... I guess one more influence of Christianity or Alchemy? Maybe...But to be honest, I don't know if I like it or no.

Athenian eyeblinks

If you are driving to Athens, coming from the north, a few kilometers before entering the first suburbs of the city you come across this fancy overhead drivestop. To me, it stands there as a tasteless city gate.

This time my work involved visiting an old, military hospital. This is what caught my eye there. Glorious Hellenic Army.

While I was aimlessly driving around Athens, I saw this nice contrast of yellow and blue. This guy found this way to advertise his business: cesspit constructions!

Driving my way back, about 200 kilometers away from Athens, I captured Spring before leaving it behind me.

Speaking words of wisdom

my response to Modern living - an antiutopia?

I wouldn't like to go into much detail on how, where or why I found myself there, recording this on camera. I only wish I could be as bright, at such age. Enough said.
