The Democracy of the beach

I was thinking that the beach may well be one of the few places in social life where people are behaving and being treated as equals.

Once we throw away the clothes that mark our social status, we all look the same under the hot sun rays.

I cannot think of another place where the prince and the pauper can lay side by side in harmony. Not even in a cemetery. Even there people have found ways to impose their vanity.

Quite probably.
Or maybe, power of holidays.

But most certainly, power of nudism!
